Green River Animal Welfare
League, Inc. or GRAWL
(sounds like "growl") is a non-
profit organization dedicated to
improving animal welfare in
Adair County, Kentucky and
surrounding counties. Our
current emphasis is on
controlling pet overpopulation
by spaying and neutering.
Tips for the Month

Thank you for supporting us through our bake
sale. We were able to raise much needed funds
for our Spay/Neuter Program. We will continue
to have our bake sale each year at this time.

In the U.S., there are 6-8 million
homeless animals entering animal
shelters every year. Less half of
these animals are adopted, and the
majority are tragically euthanized.
Pledge to Spay or Neuter Your Pets!

Grooming is time with your pet and
will improve their coat as well as help
you find little things wrong that you
can see, grooming is a massage for
them.

Do not give animals human medication
unless instructed by your vet!

Insect protection is important for your
pet. Eliminate standing water to
prevent mosquito and other insect
growth.
4.
If your dog is lost put an article of your
clothing on your doorstep, so that your
dog can follow the scent.
